Tips for Transfer Students: GPA

So, over this past year I’ve been noticing a disturbing trend:  Transfer students rarely remember to include their community college credit into their overall GPA.

Community college credit should definitely be factored into your cumulative GPA!  Yes, we know that your transcripts only show Berkeley credit.  Yes, we know that you are completing your degree here.  You still need to include your community college units into your overall GPA.  Your freshman and sophomore years shouldn't not go unaccounted for.  This is usually good news for students…go ahead and re-calculate!
